No one ships McFassy more than James McAvoy does. 

James isn’t really sure what he’s thinking when he blurts the words out, all he can bring to mind is an image of Michael’s tall, lean body and suddenly he’s informing the reporter about their early  morning rituals like its some sort of joke.

Mortification hits him first, and he stumbles over his words before refocusing on something else to say, something that won’t gave Michael glaring at him pissily and demanding that James sleep on the couch during his next visit.

Later, much later, after the photos have all been taken and the awards have been handed out, James pulls out his phone to text Michael a forewarning about his ‘joke’. He’s worried, for a long while, but then Michael sends him back a quick message from wherever he’s gone to get ridiculously drunk,

James, a bit miffed - not that he can really deny the accusation - texts Michael back with a frowney face.
